- and to certify you in the following areas; Purpose and Structure of the legisiation and regulations - Responsibilities - Classification - Supplier Labels - Workplace Labels - Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS) - Training Requirements - Additional Sources of information
This course will be broken into a series of modules. At the end of each one you will be asked to answer some questions to indicate your level of understanding. |

1. Legislation and regulations
- Learn the significations of WHMIS
- Know about the training requirements
- Learn about the various Legislation and Regulations that make up the WHMIS system
2. Classification of Hazardous Materials
- Learn about the WHMIS Hazard symbols and the dangers associated with them
3. Hazard Labels, including
- Supplier labels, applied by the manufacturer or distributor, and
- Workplace labels, that you will apply to unlabelled hazardous materials in your workplace
4. Material Safety Data Sheets, or MSDSs/SDS
- Learn about the WHMIS Materal Safety Data sheet requirements
